Summary The primary duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Support Assistant are administrative and clerical tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the work performed within the Facilities Management (Construction) Projects Section. Assists the Lead Program Assistant, as well as provides guidance to the other Administrative Support Assistants in order to facilitate the efficient management of the Construction Program. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coordinating, planning, data collection and interpretation, preparation of documents/applications/reports, budgeting, and maintaining consistency in the St Cloud HealthCare System (STCHCS) construction program. Incumbent manages procurement schedules and tracks milestones. The incumbent independently prepares non-technical correspondence and reports in final form and prepares from rough draft correspondence, reports and statistical statements of a technical nature. The incumbent is knowledgeable and functionally adept in monitoring, tracking and reporting via the Invoice Payment Processing System (IPPS). The incumbent is responsible for obtaining project information, consolidating and reviewing for consistency, format, and grammar, all project applications, project tracking reports and databases, and other reports required of the Projects Section. Incumbent monitors the status of facility construction projects and initiates requests for timely capitalization, expensing, and/or disposal of real property, as appropriate. Incumbent manages and maintains STCHCS construction file systems to include hardcopy and softcopy documentation on systems. You may qualify based on your experience as described below Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Physical Requirements: Work is performed in an office setting, mostly at a desk. The majority of the incumbent's duties are sedentary in nature with occasional walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and carrying light objects, as required.
