We are seeking 2nd and 3rd shift Production Workers to join our close knit team in Waite Park, MN! Previous manufacturing or yard truck experience is a plus, but we are willing to train. Operate Equipment Compliance Quality Sanitation Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures Process incoming pet food raw material in safe and efficient manner to produce quality finished products Continuously inspect raw and finished materials to ensure quality is meeting set standards Operate equipment – may include, processing equipment, skid steer, forklift, overhead crane, meat grinders, etc. Operate yard truck around facility premises to transport trailers back and forth Assist in loading and unloading raw material and pallets Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, tools, totes, combos, etc. to maintain proper housekeeping throughout the shift Perform preventative maintenance duties and monitor equipment, pallets, etc. throughout the plant for necessary repairs Learn and follow all standard operating procedures for processing, sanitation, safety, and quality Report mechanical, material, or other issues/repairs necessary to direct leadership Accurately record data and complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner; determine and report inconsistencies Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal workload.
