The Production Print Setup Technician is responsible for Setting up New Production equipment, triaging, refurbishing, and preparing all used Production equipment for resale, taking care to meet or exceed all established quality assurance standards. Main Responsibilities - Perform assembly and setup of large volume (production print) and highly complex equipment utilizing the proper setup checklists and procedures, prioritizing based on the setup schedule. - Perform installation and updating of Print Controller software, Command Workstation and other relevant software tools. - Troubleshoot any issues that arise during setup utilizing any resource available to ensure proper setup exceeding all established quality assurance standards. - Test all functions following guidelines set by the setup checklist. - Clean all surfaces of equipment to acceptable quality assurance standards. - Perform all necessary administrative functions in ERP system and fill out all applicable documents to support the setup process. - Move products in and around the distribution centers and to and from off-site storage. - Accurately and completely follow setup checklist/guidelines. - Order all parts and supplies needed to perform setup. - Assist the Copier Setup Technicians with assembly procedures and new/used equipment setups as well as repair of new product when needed. - Prepare all used/new product for delivery. - Accurately maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry. - Maintain and promptly clean all workspaces. - Maintain 95% accountable time including approved training. - Accurately maintain documentation and comply with administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry. - Attend required company and departmental meetings. - Perform other related duties as assigned.
