The Product Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and documenting market-oriented positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation. The Product Marketing Coordinator understands the market and key buying criteria to develop effective outbound communication in the most effective mediums. The Product Marketing Coordinator develops buyer personas and shares market and buyer knowledge across the organization – especially with sales and product management. Essential Job Duties - Liaison with product management to develop positioning, market-oriented messaging, and competitive differentiation of GeoComm’s solutions. - Collaborates with product management to develop solution content plans and then write and/or edit the content. - Translates solution descriptions, features and benefits into impactful, market-oriented content to support demand generation. - Collaborates with product managers, sales, and other stakeholders to develop sales enablement training sessions and associated tools. - Develops marketing collateral and sales tools (aligned with both the buying and sales processes) to generate demand. - Liaisons with sales to co-develop and deliver sales enablement training, content, and materials for all releases. - Marketing liaison to product management for product launch planning and implementation of marketing programs. Collaborates with the Marketing Communications Manager on developing and implementing marketing launch plans. - Understands the market, buyers, buyer behavior and key buying criteria. Is responsible for developing and maintaining GeoComm buyer personas. Shares market-oriented knowledge and collaborates with sales and product management to ensure alignment to brand messaging. - Collaborates with GeoComm subject matter experts to develop content, such as blogs, interviews/videos, white papers, and case studies showcasing GeoComm’s expertise, market-oriented benefits, offerings and enhancing the understanding of GeoComm’s offering, positioning and role in the market. - Collaborates with the Marketing Communications Manager and sales organization to optimize marketing processes, enable automation and reporting and produce reports. - Follows GeoComm branding guidelines. Provides input in the review of branding guidelines and champions branding guidelines within the organization.
