The Payroll Clerk's job duties include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. Duties: - Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets - Build and run custom reports, distribute and administer reports as instructed - Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system - Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc. - Deliver training to employees on the use of proper payroll practices, including timesheet entry and online methods of accessing pay statements requirements - Previous payroll experience - Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills - Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well - Proficient in Payroll software - Skillful in learning new processes and systems - Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
