Outside Sales Representative – North Mid-USA As an Outside Sales Representative, you will prospect and cold-call sales leads in your territory, travel to prospective customer sites to deliver sales pitches and close deals. Location: Cincinnati, OH; Springfield, IL; Kalamazoo, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Lexington, KY; Des Moine, IA; Milwaukee, WI; Au Clare, WI; Minneapolis, MN; St. Cloud, MN; Charleston, WV Employment Type: Full Time Responsibilities: - Develop New Business within defined sales territory. Work closely with Regional Sales Managers on territory management and account planning. - Develop and implement an aggressive prospecting plan to uncover sales opportunities. - Generate leads through self-conducted research and networking, actively makes multiple cold calls and appointments looking for new business opportunities - Conduct 4+ demos per week showcasing how our technology will improve their business - Train customers to ensure renewal of software - Utilize ERP to record, maintain & report customer information. Education & Experience Required: - Minimum of three (3) years outside sales experience - Associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred. - Cold calling and prospecting: good business acumen including sales quota achievement and closing sales. - Experience in the diagnostic tool industry a plus. Additional Requirements: - Travel up to 75% - Outstanding relationship-building skills - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to understand and overcome customer’s buying objections. - Strong time-management, organizational and prioritization abilities - Ability to adopt to quick business changes - Excellent follow up skills and a sense of urgency when dealing with customers - General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications - Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle. - Consent to undergo background check
