Job Description Order Processing Representative St. Cloud, MN 12 Months-- Temp to Perm Shift : 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Monday – Friday Manager is open to students who are looking for FT summer work only, willing to be flexible on the start and end dates and have them work just the summer if needed, also willing to have a student work FT during the summer and then dropping to PT/flexible hours once classes start. They’d be responsible for fulfilling our TAA orders that we receive. Packaging & preparing for shipment, placing packing labels & shipping labels on the boxes, etc. and scanning through the shipping system. Along with that, when time allows; we would utilize them in other areas of Distribution, receiving and in our packaging area(s) Description/Comment: The Order Processing Representative - Warehousing & Inventory works in all areas of the Distribution Department, including the mailroom, shipping, final inspect/shrink wrapping, warehousing, receiving, product assembly, manifest operation, and operation of a sit-down and stand-up forklift. Additional duties are performed upon request of the manager. The Order Processing Representative - Warehousing & Inventory must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with others in a team-oriented environment. A strong aptitude of software usage is required since the position uses SAP applications, Microsoft Office 365, and other PC or web applications. This role is critical in meeting the quality, accuracy, and timeliness requirements assigned by the customer. Understands and follows standard operating procedures and policies: by attending appropriate training courses on *** policies assigned by management. Understanding and following the standard operating procedures for this position in the prescribed timeline. Understands and follows security guidelines by following the client Facilities guidelines, and your secure area’s protocols. Participates in department-wide process improvement programs, best practices, and occasional special projects by engaging in strategies for process improvement to meet organizational performance expectations. To ensure all activities meet or exceed organizational requirements. Work with team members to assist in the training and implementation of process and policy improvements approved by management. Job Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent certification. Required Experience: • 3 years job related experience. • Experience with SAP a plus • Utilizes independent judgement. • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. • Detail oriented, accurate and efficient in handling multiple tasks and stressful situations. • Good mechanical ability. • Ability to work independently in a team environment in a positive and supportive manner. • Grammatical and proofreading skills when reviewing orders prior to shipment. • Ability to operate a sit-down and stand-up forklift per OSHA requirements. • Requires regular attendance. Physical Demands: • Work area may be hot and humid during summer/fall months. • Physical demands include finger dexterity, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and standing up to 6-8 hours per day. • Must be able to lift to 30 lbs. on a regular basis. • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift is a plus, but not required
