RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking a Mid-Sr. SCCM / Security Vulnerability Engineer in Saint Cloud, MN. Summary: The Mid-Sr. SCCM / Security Vulnerability Engineer utilizes SCCM and Rapid 7 or related tools for vulnerability management. This individual designs processes and technologies required to implement, prioritize, modify, and maintain the company's core desktop infrastructure. This role implements systems improvements to improve reliability and performance and is encouraged to handle endpoints in a hybrid environment consisting of thin clients with virtualized desktops, physical PC workstations with local and domain ran profiles and continually envisions and/or evaluates new technologies for suitability for inclusion in the enterprise desktop architecture. Responsibilities: - Act as a mentor to engineers and conduct training sessions for the Desktop Engineering and other teams in the department - Develop and execute plans regarding operating systems including installation and ongoing administration - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of staff within IT and with business units; Work with teams across IT to ensure core desktop architecture adheres to enterprise standards, and delivered systems are scalable, loosely-coupled, resilient, secure, performant, highly available, and easy to operate - Ensure all core desktop infrastructure work is in alignment with the overall Enterprise Architecture framework, IT strategy, strategic drivers and standards - Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, application servers, and administrative systems - Lead projects and develop technical mentorship, design patterns, and standards - Lead all aspects of a hybrid environment consisting of thin clients with virtualized desktops, physical PC workstations Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: - 3 plus years in SCCM, MS GPO experience, active directory and vulnerability management experience - Proven knowledge of server virtualization concepts - Experience in Rapid 7 and related security tools - Experience working for a publicly traded company in a similar role - Proven record of deploying large-scale, sophisticated applications used in critical operations Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
