Lake Air Products Offers: - A competitive wage - Full Package - Paid Time Off/ Holiday Pay - Gym Reimbursement - Tuition reimbursement Responsibilities - Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and processes. - Create CNC programs for machines used in the manufacture of precision metal fabrications. - Confers with account managers and manufacturing concerning product and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. - Confers with customers and vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of tooling, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. - Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. - Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. - Reviews the Contract Review-Rep. Worksheet and fills out the Contract Review-Estimators Worksheet. - Maintain the accuracy of the Bills of Materials, routings and prints. - Review revision levels to purchase orders for correctness. - Maintain the Engineering Request/Change system. - Reviews orders for packaging requirements. - Comply with the requirements of the ISO Quality Management System and departmental procedures and work-aids. Highly Preferred Skills: - Operate computer-aided design (CAD) system - CNC Programming - Solidworks - Pro E, Auto-CAD and Cad Key 98 with Striker and Merry Mech. - Interfaces with the customer's computer system and downloads drawings, specifications and data. Unfolds compressed files and does flat blank layouts. Qualifications - BS in Engineering or equivalent experience - 5 - 10 years' experience in a metal/stamping manufacturing setting - Manufacturing production experience specifically in process improvement with Lean techniques - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Lean certification and/or experience required
