GENERAL SUMMARY This manager will lead their team in effective data management. The success of the product data management department is essential to sustaining day-to-day business operations as well as facilitating strategic growth initiatives. This role works closely with internal customers to manage priorities and resources needed to meet business goals. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) Oversee and lead the product data team with responsibility of data configuration, maintenance and supporting BOM data. Identify team development needs and a plan to develop the skills of the organization to meet evolving needs Responsible for effective product change management and the accuracy and integrity of managed data Review and gain knowledge of the current engineering and marketing change process data to ensure compliance as the team transitions into new platforms of change control Establish and monitor department performance metrics Coordinate project priority across Business Units and Engineering teams Effective management of team resource usage to identify and resolve conflicting project deliverables Identify and support the cultural shift that is essential to digital transformation implementation Ensure the right processes and tools are in place to meet business needs while complying with established Engineering Standards Initiate, manage and coordinate updates to Product Data Management processes Lead department continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate the cleanup and restructuring of data in support of process optimizations Train DeZURIK personnel on new or updated Business systems and processes Additional responsibilities as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 6+ years progressively responsible experience in Data Analysis, Data Management, Data Governance and/or Data Stewardship Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience 2+ years experience managing a diverse team Expert Level Proficiency in MS Office Minimum of 3 years process documentation experience. Good understanding of Product Lifecycle Management Proven project management skills Demonstrate effectiveness in achieving results through understanding and management of internal customer relationships, prioritization, and delegation of tasks. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Background in manufacturing preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS Normal office requirements.
