We are headquartered in Mooresville, North Carolina with additional locations in Fort Worth, TX and Cold Spring, MN. Position: Machine Operator - 5:45am to 6:00pm on a 2-2-3 schedule (*2 week-ends off per month*) Position Summary: This position is responsible to perform general production work using various packaging equipment to ensure all company and customers expectations are being met for their specific product. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: - Operates pasteurizer/warmer that supplies bottles to labeler or cans to Hi-Cone. Ensures codes and product are meeting quality standards per company/customer. - Performs label inspection, to ensure the quality of labels. Ensures that the label is correct and straight on each bottle. Inspect for missing labels and caps, short fills, upside down labels, etc. - Supplies boxes or trays to drop packer and verifies that the correct packaging is being used. - Operates case erector, 6-pack erector, and 12-pack erector or tray former. - Operates drop packer and case sealer and ensures correct product and customer codes are present. - Operates depalletizer and makes sure bottles/cans are correct and being properly processed for filling. Operates palletizer ensuring that correct product along with pallet pattern is being used per customer specification. - Performs hand stacking and repacking of product as needed. - Assists in housekeeping and running compactor for crushing boxes as required. - Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor/customer.
