POSTING #: 2416 n n WORK HOURS: n1.0 FTE for the 2021-2022 school year. n n PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: n - Work with individual students or small groups of students to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring. n - Maintain records of interventions and progress monitoring to insure process fidelity. n - Maintain high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information. n - Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses as needed n - Provide high quality general education instruction to students who are at-risk n - Use identified scientific, research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student difficulties. n - Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during interventions. n - Provide the high quality instruction time needed to move students to grade level proficiency. n - Participate in universal screening activities and assist with the analysis of the data to identify students in need of response to intervention services. n - Provide data to the school teams and participate in decisions about student progress. n n n OUTSTANDING CANDIDATES WILL: n - Have an understanding of literacy interventions to increase student learning n - Ability to follow explicit systematic materials n - Ability to look at data and make decisions as a team n - Desire to work collaboratively with students, parents/guardians, classroom teachers, intervention colleagues, instructional coaches, and administration n - Ability to create and keep to a schedule n - Excellent organizational skills n - Desire to problem solve to increase student achievement n - Ability to work with diverse elementary learners n - Excellent written and verbal communication skills n - Strong classroom management skills n - Knowledge of best practices and technology available for elementary learners n - Desire to learn n n n REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: n - Valid Minnesota elementary teaching license n n n PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: n - Successful experience implementing literacy interventions n - Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject area n - Experience using technology to augment student learning n n n SALARY: nBased on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Association's Master Agreement. n n DEADLINE: nApplications accepted online at www.isd47.org/employment until filled. n nApplications reviewed immediately upon submission. n n NOTE: n Candidates must pass a criminal background check in order to be eligible for employment.
