This role provides technical consulting to management, business users, and teammates as well as actual programming services to bring those desired solutions to production.Education and Experience+ A four year degree in a software development area and five years' experience working with Java Enterprise Edition (specific experience with version 1.8 using Swing GUI a plus), or an equivalent amount of experience.+ 3+ years' experience in an Enterprise Database Management System (DB2 / SQL).+ Experience using Eclipse and IntelliJ IDE's+ Solid experience in generating standardized documentation.+ Advanced analytical, conceptual, and creative problem-solving abilities.+ Ability to translate an idea or need into a completed solution or work product.+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).+ Strong communication skills (written, listening and verbal).+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people and cultures.+ Willing and able to travel infrequently, including overnight travel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities+ Review standards in determining the best design to meet project requirements.
