- Job Description: Responsible for servicing Irrigation installation projects, Maintenance division contracts, and current Irrigation division customers. As a part of the management team, you will staff the service department and perform administrative tasks as it relates to billing transactions for services provided, ordering materials, documentation of personnel, timesheet review, and establish departmental procedures. For the service department, you will direct technicians with daily routing and schedules, acquire and facilitate training for technicians on new product releases, provide phone backup, and mediate customer relations. You will work directly with our Irrigation/Maintenance Division Mangers and our Landscape/Irrigation Production Managers on all issues relating to irrigation services including, but not limited to, budgeting and forecasting, estimating, equipment needs, inventory control, installations etc. - Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of irrigation service management - Minimum 3 years of irrigation field installation - Knowledge of all major irrigation manufacture product lines - Experienced with conventional and all two-wire applications including control systems utilizing cloud based/cellular connections for offsite monitoring - Experienced and proficient diagnosing low/high water pressure situations and of faulty wiring situations - High emphasis with water management scheduling for all soil type, site, and seasonal weather conditions - Proficient installation, operation and management of all major pump stations including suction lift, floating intake, and booster pump applications - Knowledge of process and flow of safety, installation, reporting, and planning - Proficient with Windows based software including all Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word. Company cloud-based software currently being used is LMN Business Management.
