Position: Inventory Analyst Lead - Ingredients, Monday - Friday with occasional weekends Job Summary: This position oversees the control of inventory management within the company for all ingredients. They are responsible for digitally preparing inventory for production & generating the proper documentation, overseeing and working with Inventory Analyst’s as well as the Ingredient Receiving department. This job requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong communication skills & excellent computer skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Oversees Ingredient Inventory roles under Ingredient Control Department & Ingredient Receiving team. - Monitors activities in area of responsibility at all times during shift. - Trains and leads, as well as communicates effectively with all co-workers. - Responsible to evaluate and make suggestions for the continuous improvement of processes in area of responsibility. - Responsible for preparing and manging all customer ingredient audits. - Responsible for managing monthly and requested customer inventory reports. - Responsible for kit preparation: - Printing/verifying batch sheets against production schedule/AX - Performing AX pre-kitting functions - Verifying ingredient availability for upcoming runs - Works closely with Planning Department to identify potential shortages and communicate properly & proactively to the team. - Works closely with item development group on new item setup and MRP requirements. - Proactively monitors load schedule for inbound ingredient and works with receiving to compensate heavy load days. - Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory logs and item tracking. - Works closely with Quality & Ingredient Control to monitor and remove obsolete, expired or hold items in a timely manner. - Coordinates and performs regular inventory counts as required by customers and company. - Verifies clerical computations against physical count of product and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. - Verifies ingredient discrepancies with high dollar value and provide follow up. - Assist in moving and storing of product as needed. - Assist in staging and preparation of documentation for product being picked up or shipped. - Helps coordinates month ending physical & digital inventories. - Perform other duties as assigned by customers and managers.
