We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our Install department. The Project Manager is responsible for the entire successful execution of a project. Their primary responsibilities are the plan, direct, coordinate, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager shall also participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, estimating, scheduling, and implementation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Define project scope and goals with sales team and upper management. - Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. - Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction means and methods. - Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion. - Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients. - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones. - Put together material lists for each project. - Ensuring all legal codes/requirements/permits etc. are met/obtained and closed out. - Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management. - Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites. - Determine and assess need for additional staff and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during the duration of the project. - Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. - Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project/project team. - Develop and implement quality control programs. - Execute all required closeout documents. - Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful aspects of the project. - Meeting facilitation as required. - Ensuring all field employees adherence to our health/safety standards and policies. - Bid A/C projects alongside HVAC PM's. - Regular travel will be required for this position. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs other allied duties as assigned by supervisor. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor of Science degree in Project Management or related field and a minimum of 1 year Project Management experience in HVAC/R industry or related field or minimum of 5 years' experience of progressive responsibility and/or Project Management experience in the HVACR industry or related field. - Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills. - Collaborative team player. - Customer service orientated. - Leadership skills. - Ability to plan and see the "Big Picture". - Strong computer skills. - Competent in conflict and crisis management. - Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills. - Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with multiple priorities. - Valid driver's license.
