This is a contract position; however, it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client. Human Resource Consultant Job Responsibilities Your specific duties as a Human Resource Consultant will include: - Actively recruit (using a variety of methods) talent to fill current and projected opening - Coordinates interviews, job offers, pre-employment and on-boarding of new team members - Supports new hire orientation for hourly Team Members. - Assists with required training and development of Team Members. - Builds positive relations based on the culture of trust, respect and empowering Team Members to always do the right thing. - Works closely with management and Team Members to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. - Oversees the tracking and filing of disciplinary actions and attendance. - Conducts exit interviews, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to the management team for corrective action and continuous improvement. - Facilitates legal issues related to FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc. - On-site liaison for Team Member benefit programs including Health, Dental, Life, Short-term an - Long-term Disability, 401(k), Flexible Spending Accounts, and Family and Medical Leave Act in accordance with Federal/State legal compliance. Human Resource Consultant Job Requirements As a Human Resource Consultant, you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual, and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. - 5+ years of HR related HR experience in manufacturing environment preferred - Success supporting Talent Acquisition, ON-boarding/deployment, and retention efforts. - Microsoft office applications suite is required. PeopleSoft or similar software preferred. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive. - Demonstrate ability to manage confidential information - Possess decision-making skills with ability to work independently. - Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Team player establishing trust, credibility, and consensus builder. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Manage multiple conflicting priorities. - Be self-directed and motivated. - Take initiative to identify and anticipate business/HR needs and make recommendations for implementation. - Related Degree / studies or experience in Human Resources field Human Resource Consultant Benefits As a Human Resource Consultant with Bartech, you will be working through an established and respected staffing organization with over 40 years of serving as a trusted partner to our client companies.
