Position Summary: Provides a variety of administrative support functions for the human resources area, particularly in recruitment, onboarding, and employee file retention areas. Essential Job FunctionsAssists with the recruitment of employees by posting positions; conducting online searches for qualified candidates, scheduling interviews, and administering pre-employment personality assessments and background checks.Contacts and provides good faith recruitment with disabled, veterans, women and minority agencies, applicants, etc. Assists applicants via email and telephone with their inquiries about open positions in a professional manner.Creates and updates job postings in applicant tracking system (Workday) and works with HR Assistant to post related advertising as needed; and then screens and distributes resumes and applications to recruiters and/or hiring managers for review.Establishes contact with and keeps job services informed with current openings for each job site.Maintains the recruiting ATS database by entering resumes/applicant information, interview notes, and other items as needed in a timely manner.Assists the recruiting team with the preparation of job/career fair materials, and ships materials to specific locations (i.e. colleges, job services, job sites). Provides administrative support (scanning, copying, filing, etc.) to the recruiting team as needed.Additional Job FunctionsAssists HR department employees with various projects during times when additional support is needed. Identifies opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste in order to improve efficiency. Performs additional assignments per supervisor's direction.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skills.Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook, JD Edwards/E1 experience a plus.Detail-oriented.Strong organizational, project/time management is necessary.Must be approachable and keep information confidential.
