JOB PURPOSE: The Franchise Consultant (FC) is to act as the primary point of contact for franchisees and operators. The FC partners, coaches and advises franchisees on Erbert & Gerbert's Franchise System (EGFS) best practices and compliance procedures in order to increase sales, improve profitability, drive operational excellence while maintaining brand standards. The FC is responsible for upholding and positively endorsing all E&G processes, forms, systems, procedures, technology, and training. The FC is also responsible for effectively and accurately communicating EGFS related info to franchisees and operators and reporting back to direct report. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Partner with franchisees & operators to improve sales growth and profitability while upholding brand standards - Work hip to hip in the stores with a focus on coaching and advising franchisees & operators, while also auditing to ensure EGFS systems and procedures are in place and educating them on potential improvements that are reflected by EGFS best practice systems and procedures. - Act as the key point of contact or liaison between the franchisees and (EGFS) - Advise franchisees & operators on our company systems and procedures and positively coach them on their importance and it can impact their business. - Enforce compliance brand standards and ensure the well being of the brand and document each issue on OER's or with direct report - Conduct Operational Excellence Review's regularly to gauge operational performance, to uphold brand standard and identity opportunities for each franchisees & operator to improve - Effectively listen to franchisees & operators and concisely communicate desired changes from franchisees & operators to Direct Report - Uphold and potentially communicate any potential punitive measures for non-compliance franchisees only with consent and approval of Director of Operations - Communicate any potential exit strategies for franchisee that include transfers, acquisitions, or closures. - Support New Store Opening and additional training processes - Educate and clearly define operational requirements for new initiatives stemming from Marketing, IT, Finance, or Development - Execute any on-site training on new initiatives as needed - Clearly communicate all aspects on new initiatives and ensure franchisee readiness for the deployment of new initiatives OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist on any ongoing EGFS projects in which you would be assigned to contribute - Ability to manage your own schedule at least 6 weeks out and ensure stores are visited at least once every 6 week - Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time - Ability to manage travel and book own accommodations within company guidelines - Ability to respond to franchisees needs during store's operating hours 7 days a week within a reasonable amount of time depending on severity of situation
