We treat individuals ages 12–32 who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and/or co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse. Through our clinical expertise and integrated care, we strive to help alleviate the stigma surrounding teen and young adult mental health. The Family Therapist is the primary contact for families assigned on their caseload. This position facilitates individual, family, group therapy, and new Family Orientations. Hours: Monday - Friday 830a-5p Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate, proactively, and serve as point of contact with families. Facilitate individual, family, and group therapies within the framework of the Newport Healthcare’s clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy model. Facilitate new Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups. Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress, group notes, contact notes and discharge summaries) timely and according to established standards. Enter and save data accurately within Word, Outlook (email and calendaring), EMR, and online learning. Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision. Attend meetings, trainings, and conferences representing Newport Healthcare as needed. Manage schedule, independently, to effectively and efficiently accomplish goals and tasks. Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required. Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided Experience with individual, group, or family therapy with adolescents/young adults required. Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders or trauma-informed treatment preferred Willingness to be trained to provide family therapy within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
