TYPE OF POSITION: Hourly, 4.75 hrs/day, 8:30am - 1:15pm, Monday - Thursday Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Nutritional Services, Head Cook(s), Building Principals SUPERVISION: None QUALIFICATIONS: Required - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years’ work related experience - MSNA (MN School Nutrition Association) Certification Level 1 (required within 3 years of hire date)- Second Cook ONLY - Serv Safe Certification (required within 1 year of hire date) - Second Cook ONLY Preferred - Bilingual POSITION SUMMARY: This is the second level in the five level nutritional services group. Incumbents are responsible for performing the duties of a class I nutritional services employee as well as more complex nutritional services functions.
