Director of Operations We have experienced significant, long-term growth and as a result, are searching for a Director of Operations to manage our close-knit team of union Installers. This person should have strong leadership skills and significant business/entrepreneurial skills and background, with a minimum of 8 years of management experience over union-based installation teams for doors, millwork, and cabinets. Essential Functions - Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction and be able to communicate what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion. - Friendly, organized, and energetic Customer-oriented personality that can communicate and work with customers. - Participates in final walks and completes job site reporting. - Performs onsite warranty work as requested. - Aids in the proactive planning process of customers and project managers - Completes daily reporting of job progress, issues, and recommended resolution. - Identify areas to improve efficiency and cost savings - Work in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner - Computer Skills: Microsoft Office competency, especially Word and Excel - Works on-site, directly with customers, to answer any questions, concerns, and assess satisfaction level as well as make any necessary changes to resolve customer concerns in real-time. - Confirms that all company-branded work is OSHA-compliant and satisfies all other applicable laws and regulations Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Communicate with the team and keep them focused on production. - Knowledge of the Door and cabinet manufacturing process is necessary - Good communication with vendors, customers, and team - Develop & maintain internal quality control processes - Always thinking the next best thing to improve the facility COMPETENCIES: - Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time - Strong attention to detail - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to read and understand blueprints and architectural drawings - Must be comfortable with negotiating and independently having the authority to make decisions to resolve customer concerns in real-time Take the next step in your career and APPLY NOW!!
