Provide crisis services with the goals of keeping children safe and assisting families in stabilizing the situation causing the crisis. Contact with approximately 10 – 20 families each month in arranging emergency childcare during times of crisis, offering brief counseling, providing information on community resources and referrals, and some transportation as deemed necessary. Recruit, train and provide support for Crisis Nursery providers. The Crisis Nursery Specialist will provide services in the Wright County area; these are fairly new services for LSS in this region - the candidate must have networking skills and needs to be familiar with area resources.
