Recruiter (Talent Sourcing) Reports to: Senior Corporate Recruiter Benefit Classification : Salary Exempt Education Requirements: Four-year Human Resources or related degree; or equivalent years education and experience. Previous Sourcing certification or formal sourcing training required. (i.e. AIRS). Experience: Three years HR sourcing and full cycle recruitment experience. Previous experience utilizing an application tracking system (ATS), preferably Workday. Position Summary: Actively involved in the full recruitment cycle from initiating hire requisitions through employment offers and onboarding for the corporate office. Ensures all positions are filled in alignment with company culture, and in a timely manner. Essential Job Functions - Follows company recruitment program by complying with local, state and federal employment laws and implements sourcing and recruiting strategies to ensure that the company can attract the best candidates and determine "cultural fit" for the position. - Works closely with Hiring Managers to help determine staffing strategy, obtain position requirements and compensation, and ensures that job descriptions are updated. - Develops and implements sourcing programs ensuring effectiveness, consistency, and compliance with overall strategic planning. - Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals; and source passive candidates through networking, cold calling, advertisements, job fairs, and Internet research. - Evaluates profiles of potential candidates and perform preliminary phone screen assessments (screens all candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and basic qualifications); and then schedules face to face interviews pending a positive outcome. - Negotiates and makes job offers for positions in a timely manner. - Tracks progress on each candidate in the applicant tracking system (Page Up/Workday), and reports staffing initiatives and progress to supervisor and management on a regular basis. - Builds company brand by professionally representing the company to all applicants, employment agencies, universities, etc., and works in conjunction with all company employees to provide the highest level of customer service. - Codes and submits vendor invoices and expense reports for prompt payment. - Contacts and provides good faith recruitment with disabled, veterans, women and minority agencies, applicants, colleges, universities, etc. Additional Job Functions - Assists with college/university career fairs and Jobsite job fairs as needed. - Seeks ways to improve departmental effectiveness by eliminating unnecessary tasks, increase the use of technology, etc. - Assist department employees with various projects during times when additional support is needed. - Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of employment laws to ensure adherence to all equal employment opportunity. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Strong employee relations skills. - Must be able to maintain confidentiality. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) - Proficient with an applicant tracking system (ATS) (Workday Preferred). - Occasional Out-of-state travel is required.
