Description: Performs a variety of duties associated with instructing and onsite oversight for Community Education programs. Job Summary: Provides quality programming that is appropriate for the ages and learning levels of the participants. Inspects equipment/supplies and facilities used for the program to ensure safety and cleanliness. Responsible for set-up and take down/cleanup of equipment/supplies. Lead staff onsite providing: Answering questions & communicating with participants/parents. Giving direction to other program staff. Maintains accurate paperwork including rosters, emergency contact information, attendance records, etc. as requested by program coordinator. Maintains control of class environment while identifying individual needs of participants. Attends all required staff meetings. Completes and submits required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner. Qualifications: Must be age 16+ Ability to provide instruction to small & large groups of students. Ability to communicate effectively to participants and parents (if applicable). Ability to provide work direction to other program staff. Ability to maintain and demonstrate professionalism while working with co-workers, participants and parent/guardians Good organizational and time-management skills.
