Northway Academy, a member of the Sevita family offers day program services using Applied Behavior Analysis so children, and their families, can reach goals of increased growth and independence. Children with Autism have a variety of developmental, learning, physical and emotional needs. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to achieve the following: - Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills - Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise and nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness - Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as: hygiene, grooming and/or toileting - Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities - Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors Qualifications: - Must be minimum of 18 years of age - A compassionate approach with a reliable and responsible attitude - An ability to connect with children with an ability to work with others to accomplish goals - Experience in human services preferred but not mandatory - Successful clearance of background checks Why Join Us? - Full-time/part-time, M-F day schedules.
