Food service department staff will take direction from the head cook, and will participate in maintaining a safe, sanitary, orderly and attractive environment. We are currently looking for customer service oriented staff members who are looking to work in a fast paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve food according to established procedures while maintaining a neat and clean serving area. Use proper utensils and monitor portion sizes. Maintain alertness to student allergy restrictions while serving and practicing food safety and sanitation techniques. Daily set-up and clean-up of the serving area. This includes, but is not limited to stocking products, portioning a la cart items and cleaning and sanitizing the serving area. Wash dishes after each shift, put away clean dishes and restock in the kitchen. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school or equivalent (Required) Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20lbs frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand continuously, walk frequently, reach with arms/hands frequently, stoop/kneel occasionally.
