Summary: The Bronze Assembler is responsible for attaching bronze memorial plates to granite markers. Duties: Drills holes for the bronze memorial plate into the granite marker as specified by production ticket Matches the correct bronze memorial plate to the granite marker and carries it to the assembly table Attaches threaded rods to the memorial plates Centers and assembles the bronze plate onto granite marker using an impact wrench Uses hydraulic metal sheers to cut ends of threaded rods as needed Uses a handheld banding machine to package memorial markers with the appropriate shipping material Enters completed orders into JDE system and into AS400 systems to print appropriate shipping labels; ensures correct shipping label is affixed to each marker package Assists with bundling markers based upon shipping dates and locations Helps prepare packaging for memorial markers by assembling cardboard boxes and building wooden crates Returns marker pallets to the beginning of the cutting line as needed Maintains a level of supplies, studs, nuts and washers, etc. Performs necessary 5S and TPM duties Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Physical Requirements: Stands and walks entire shift Lifts to 30 - 50 lbs. regularly Wears protective safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, and whatever the job requires Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required Status: This is a full time hourly position; Mon.
