BEHAVIORAL DIMENSIONS is seeking PT and FT Behavior Technician to work with children who have autism throughout the Twin Cities. This position entails working directly with the client in the family’s home to practice, repeat, reintroduce, and master skills as previously taught. Activities may involve working directly with the child individually, in child-peer groupings, and/or in child-family groupings. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and must be available to work evenings and weekends. Qualifications for a Level I MHBA : - Must have a high school diploma or GED OR - Have 2 years experience as a primary caregiver to a child with severe emotional disturbance within the previous 10 years OR - Have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree OR - Have 4,000 hours (the equivalency of 2 years of FT work) of experience in delivering clinical services in the treatment of mental illness concerning children or adults If you are in a location that we aren’t currently hiring for, you may still submit an application, and if you meet our screening criteria, we will keep your application on file for future openings.
