We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team at the Elk River Ford/Chrysler location. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a culture of family. They will have 1 - 5 years of dealership Sales Management or GSM experience with an established history of proven leadership ability. The Sales Manager will be responsible for focusing on customer retention while achieving maximum profitability of the sales department. Benefits that we offer: · Paid Training and Development · Paid Time Off (PTO) · Flexible Schedule – 40 Hour Workweek · Career Path and Promotion Opportunities · Multiple health care options with corporate contribution · Free health care option for employee · Dental Insurance w/Corporate Match · Free Basic Life Insurance · HSA w/Corporate Contribution · 401K w/Corporate Match · Vision Insurance · Accident and Critical Illness · Short- and Long-Term Disability · Supplemental Life Insurance · Employee Assistance Program · Wellness Program with Fitness Discounts · Auto Sales, Service, Parts, and Accessories Discounts · Additional Employee Discounts and Perks Primary duties will consist of but not limited to: · Be an example of professional morals and ethics · Provide excellent customer service by listening to customers to understand their needs · Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis · Maintains teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery, and follow-up process · Provides effective communication throughout the Sales department as well as interdepartmentally · Completes deal settlement sheets and turns them into the accounting office promptly · Provides dealer with accurate floor traffic control data on a daily basis · Reviews inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of grounded stock for maximum turnover efficiency and recommends new car inventory based on customer and market analyses · Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with several finance sources · Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with vehicle manufactures · Utilize a comprehensive menu selling process to maximize the finance department’s profitability and product penetration · Review and inspect the flow of the department’s paperwork on a daily basis to ensure a timely turnaround on all deals Supervisory Responsibilities: · Conducts daily coaching and weekly sales meetings · Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all sales employees · Monitors schedule for sales team and sales associates · Coach sales associates by completing daily one-on-ones · Submits continuous performance development for sales staff · Work closely with sales team on enforcement of proper selling methods Education and/or Experience: · Successful proven and progressive track record in auto retail sales and management · Experience with Automotive Sales Management (1 year or more) – Required Qualifications and Requirements: · Current, valid Driver’s License with driving record that meets insurance company standards · Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen · Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written · Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service · Earn and maintain ongoing industry and factory related training requirements · Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic · Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment Our Values: We value our relationships.
