Department ERS IMA Job Description The successful candidate will join our growing line of business responsible for products and services that we deliver to the insurance industry. Over the year, Moody’s Analytics has been developing awards-winning solutions and has a large global client footprint in this insurance market segment. The successful candidate will be joining our Subject Matter Expert team, team in charge of technical development of RiskIntegrity™ IFRS 17. The position presents a great opportunity for highly motivated individuals with to join a highly visible growth initiative with a leading company in the market. Travel will be required (local and international). Roles & Responsibilities - Contribute to the definition and development of Moody’s Analytics overall IFRS 17 solution - Contribute to the technical development of RiskIntegrity™ IFRS 17 (methodologies, requirements etc) using a detailed knowledge of the IFRS 17 standard - Contribute to the practical development of the RiskIntegrity™ IFRS 17, including its application in real world reporting environments, in order to shape the product - Engage with clients, partners, domain experts - Interact with various internal and external stakeholders: software engineers, actuaries, accountants, customer engagement, research team, sales people… - Support the Moody’s Analytics sales team - Participating in sales/presales work around IFRS 17 when needed. - Support the Moody’s Analytics customers – Participating in implementation projects to understand clients’ needs - Contribute to marketing efforts when needed (materials, conferences, advertising, …) - Participate to Moody’s Analytics conferences and industry events when needed Qualifications - Have a good understanding of IFRS 17 (or other insurance financial reporting process) requirements, analysis and methodologies - Ability to demonstrate business change skills is an advantage - Proven ability to interact with demanding clients and to run workshops - Be customer focused with and recognize that the customer’s success is what matters - Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) - Work in cross-border/cross-disciplined teams at client site and internally - Take ownership and responsibility - Team player - Ability to work to, and manage, own deadlines - Strong work ethic, and professional and personable - Qualified Actuary - Professional accounting qualifications and/or experience related to IFRS would be a plus Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
