St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for a fixed term position in the School of Health and Human Services Department of Kinesiology. This individual will instruct courses within the Kinesiology Department s undergraduate and graduate Sports Management and Recreation programs. In addition, the successful applicant will be involved in the supervision of experiential learning requirements for students. SCSU s Sports Management program provides students with a wide variety of experiential learning opportunities including experiences with professional, collegiate, and high school teams; community-based sports programs; and national and local fitness and recreational organizations. The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a professional goal to become an outstanding teacher-scholar through the use of research-based, best-practices pedagogy. They are expected to teach using both in-person and alternative delivery methods such as online and hybrid. They will regularly engage in ongoing professional development and innovation opportunities focused on pedagogical growth.
