Department ERS IMA Job Description The successful candidate will join our growing line of business responsible for products and services that we deliver to the insurance industry. Over the year, Moody’s Analytics has been developing award-winning solutions and has a large global client footprint in the insurance market segment. IFRS17 is an opportunity for us where we are investing and are hiring new people to further our success in this sector. The successful candidate will be a member of the Product Management team working on the IFRS17 solution. The candidate will ensure the link between the business side (incl. customers), development team and any third-party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle, mainly for technical functionality to enhance the framework of the product. Roles & Responsibilities - Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the requirements for the framework of the IFRS17 solution, and translating these into specifications and detailed test plans - Interact with Software Engineering in an agile environment - Develop use cases and/or specific requirements based on product management decision of feature/functionality. - Work closely with application development team to ensure feature(s) and/or release(s) function according to use cases, requirements and product strategy. - Contribute to project planning activities - Weekly reports to be produced for the project manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies - Supporting the Product Manager with product rollout and client support - Assist product managers in managing pre-release (alpha and beta) customer programs. - Work with product managers to train support staff and review documentation for releases (release notes, user guides, marketing collateral, research papers, FAQs). - Assist with support calls that involve product management issues. - When required, provide demonstrations of key features and values of products to clients Qualifications - Main Degree Discipline in Actuarial or related subject - Successful experience as a senior business analyst, or team member of a technical product (platform, framework…) - Familiar with Software Development Life Cycles, particularly in an Agile environment - Interest in technology - Ability to efficiently communicate complex ideas (internally and externally) - Innovative approach to solving issues and problems - Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) - Results orientated and committed - Strong work ethic, and professional and personable - Taking ownership and responsibility - If possible, have a good understanding of IFRS 17 (or financial reporting process) requirements Moody’s is an equal opportunity employer.
