" As the Administrative Services Director with Liberty Paper Inc., you will provides strategic direction to multiple administrative functions/departments at Liberty Paper. Duties include planning, overseeing, managing, and optimizing the Accounting, Customer Service, Sales & Scheduling and Procurement functions and serving as an active member of the Business Unit Leadership team and the LDI Finance Team. Located at our Paper Mill in Becker, MN, this full-time position reports directly to the General Manager at Liberty Paper and the CFO for Liberty Diversified Industries. Required Skills IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: - Work with the Leadership Team to identify, develop and implement operational business plans, monitor key metrics, and assist in the decision making of the departments/areas. - Work with the Liberty Diversified International (LDI) CFO to assist in development and execution of LDI Finance Strategy - Develop and manage all aspects of departmental budget including preparation, submission, maintenance, reporting and audits. - Responsible for overseeing financial and statistical performance against budget targets. - Participate in departmental strategic planning ensuring that the developed goals align with the organization’s goals and contribute toward market growth, revenue enhancement, cost containment, etc. - Develop solutions to improve current business processes and make them more efficient. Establish and maintain effective internal controls for finance, procurement, and Customer Service, Sales and Scheduling. Identifies and seizes opportunities to improve fiscal and operational performance of these departments. - Advise the Leadership team monthly on financial status against budget, key performance metrics, and identifies risks associated with achieving targeted objectives and assists the Leadership Team in identifying countermeasures to achieve desired results. - Promote a culture of “Service Excellence” throughout the department. - Set a tone of leadership that is people-oriented, collaborative in nature, and focused on data-based decision making. - Build a management culture based on teamwork, open communication, prudent risk taking, innovation, mentoring and accountability. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA preferred. - 10+ years of previous leadership experience in Accounting or Finance required - CPA required. - Excellent problem solving and risk analysis competencies. - Excellent leadership skills. - High level of initiative and motivation. - Strong communication skills (oral & written).
