Job Description St. Cloud State University is seeking applications for potential adjunct instructors who qualify to teach in the College of Health and Wellness Professions – Department of Kinesiology. The Department of Kinesiology requests applications for part-time adjunct instructors for selected undergraduate and graduate courses in our Exercise Science and Clinical Exercise Physiology programs. Courses may include Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, Electrocardiography, Sport and Exercise Nutrition, Cardiovascular and Muscular Physiology, Exercise Testing and Prescription, Clinical Rehabilitation, as well as oversite of student practicum and internship experiences. Required Qualifications - Masters in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a closely related field - Demonstrate ability to teach in the areas of exercise science - The ability to teach days, weekends, and online - Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) - Commitment to student engagement, mentoring and success - Evidence of demonstrating ability to teach and work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds Preferred Qualifications - Ph.D. in Exercise Science ( ABD candidates accepted) OR a master’s degree in a related discipline as evidenced by specialized training and expertise in sport, physical activity, or human movement - Previous experience teaching at the university or college level for a minimum of 1-year - Recognized certifications in the Exercise Science OR Kinesiology professional field Other Requirements Benefits Info
