Beaudry Oil & Propane is a growing family owned company that has been in business for 40 years. We are currently looking for a knowledgeable accounting professional (B.S. in Accounting) with experience in general ledger accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. RESPONSIBILITES General accounting functions Assist the Controller in managing the accounting operations Journal entries Month-end and year-end close Cash management Prepare financial statement Reconcile company banking statements/checkbooks Preparing weekly/monthly reports Tax reporting Work directly with CPA to prepare annual financials Reconciles assigned general ledger account balances monthly, including A/P, Fixed assets, and Pre-paid maintenance and insurance. QUALIFICATIONS B.S. in Accounting or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of experience Microsoft office proficient: emphasis on Excel Proficiency within accounting software programs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to meet and manage deadlines and priorities.
