Acxiom is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting activities and staff to ensure financial reports are complete, timely and accurate in accordance with GAAP and company policy and procedures. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** - Design operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency - Participate in annual audits and special projects - Work with external and internal auditors to provide required information - Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of accounting responsibilities - Leads the coordination of the accounting activities among Accounting and Finance staff - Coordinate the preparation and/or review of accounting activities including reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and Company policies and procedures - Collaborate with other teams such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, etc. to standardize & optimize processes - Assist periodic internal and external audit coordination and preparation - Challenge the status quo through continuous process improvements - Ongoing review of internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404; maintain required documentation and support the testing of these controls - Actively participate in improvement or change initiatives or projects **REQUIRED SKILLS:** - 5+ years of staff/senior level accounting experience - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting - Working knowledge of GAAP accounting - Proficient with MS Office (Excel) - Solid analytical and organizational skills - Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills - Consistent record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems - Great organizational and time leadership skills, attention to detail **WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:** - Workday Financials experience - Experience working for a technology, digital marketing, or data company - 2-5 years of relevant management experience Acxiom is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer (AA/EOE/W/M/Vet/Disabled) and does not discriminate in recruiting, hiring, training, promotion or other employment of associates or the awarding of subcontracts because of a person's race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, protected veteran, military status, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics or other protected status.
