Gustave A. Larson is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies. The Larson Account Manager ensures excellent customer service, proactively increases sales and profits utilizing a local market team approach and serving as an integral member with both the sales and operations teams to satisfy customer business needs. Primary Responsibilities This list of responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as management may deem necessary from time to time. - Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate and grow relationships with an assigned book of business. Proactively engages as customer’s main point of contact offering support, providing information, and guidance. - Sales and Revenue Generation : Recognize opportunities within existing accounts for sales growth. This includes upselling and cross-selling products or services when appropriate. - Account Management : Oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions using Customer Relationship Management Software. - Team Collaboration : Partner with Territory Manager(s) to share to new sales opportunities and supports the branch by assisting at the counter, answering phones, and other duties as requested. - Product Knowledge : Maintain a thorough understanding of the Company's products or services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers. Qualifications - High school diploma or GED required. - 2 years account management or sales experience or related education required. - Previous HVAC experience strongly preferred. - Proficiency in using CRM software as well as other sales-related tool, preferably Salesforce. - Proficiency in ERP software, preferably P21. - Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within the assigned territory.
